A van carrying students from Botanical Garden to Galgotias University overturned on the Yamuna Expressway late Monday evening, injuring five of them.

According to senior officers at the Beta-2 Police Station, the incident occurred when a wheel of a nearby Eco car reportedly detached at high speed. Although the Eco car did not collide with the students' van directly, the sudden debris on the Expressway forced the driver of the university-bound vehicle to swerve sharply.

All injured students were rushed to a local hospital, where they are receiving treatment. “Fortunately, there were no life-threatening injuries,” he added.
