UP Weather Today: Uttar Pradesh is currently experiencing pleasant weather due to rainfall. Tuesday saw showers accompanied by strong winds in many areas, providing relief from the heat. The strong winds are keeping the intense heat at bay for now. The state is expected to see rain and strong winds in several districts on Wednesday as well.

According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures will rise sharply in the coming days.

The Meteorological Department has predicted scattered showers with thunder and lightning in both the western and eastern regions of UP. A warning has been issued for thunderstorms and lightning in several districts.

Intense Heat To Follow

The weather in UP will change on June 6. There will be no rain or strong winds. The maximum temperatures could reach 45-46 degrees Celsius during this period. In the last 24 hours, Banda recorded the highest temperature at 42.6 degrees Celsius. Besides this, humid and intense heat was felt in Varanasi, Ballia, Prayagraj, and Moradabad.

Rain Expected in These Districts Today

Today, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds accompanied by rain in one or two places in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Sambhal, Noida, Rampur, Budaun, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Banda, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra and surrounding areas.

Furthermore, heavy rain is expected in several places in Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, and Deoria.
