Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti 2025: The Pune city traffic police have announced traffic diversions and road closures to ensure smooth traffic flow during the birth anniversary celebrations of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. 

Traffic on Nehru Road, Laxmi Road, Shivaji Road and Bajirao Road has been redirected until the conclusion of processions.

Traffic from Jijamata Chowk to Swargate via Shivaji Road will be diverted from SG Barwe Chowk, Jangali Maharaj Road, Khandojiaba Chowk, and Tilak Road after Jai Bharat, Jai Shivaji Padyatra. Traffic from Ganesh Road to Phadke Huad and Jijamata Chowk will be diverted via Daruwala Bridge.

Traffic from Puram Chowk to Shivajinagar via Bajirao Road will be diverted from Puram Chowk, Tilak Road, Alka Talkies Chowk and Fergusson College Road. The traffic from Appa Balwant Chowk to Budhwar Chowk and Bajirao Road to Futka Buruj will be diverted via Kelkar Road.

Parking facilities are made available at Sangamwadi Parking, FC Ground, Parking in Nadipatra Parking and Agri College Ground.

Additionally, traffic changes will also be in place for 'Jai Shivaji – Jai Bharat' padyatra till 2 pm. The route is COEP Ground, SG Barve Chowk, ASPMS College Shivaji Statue, SG Barve Chowk, Modern Chowk, Jhansi Rani Chowk, Khandoji Baba Chowk, Goodluck Chowk, FC Ground. For this, traffic will be altered on FC and JM Road.
