The medical examination of Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused of the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, was completed on Monday, June 9, 2025. A team of three doctors conducted a thorough check-up, assessing both her physical and mental condition. According to the doctors, Sonam appeared extremely frightened and in a state of shock. She also reported feeling weak during the medical examination and was given energy drinks and juice throughout the morning.
Unclear Pregnancy Test Results
Sonam also underwent a pregnancy test, but the results were inconclusive, reported ABP News. The doctors described the report as "unclear" and recommended a follow-up ultrasound after one week. They noted that it's common for early pregnancy tests to yield uncertain results, and advised waiting a few more days for clarity.
Sonam Raghuvanshi In Meghalaya Police Custody
The medical report has added a sensitive dimension to the case, prompting investigative agencies to proceed with heightened caution. Following the completion of the medical exam, the Meghalaya Police took Sonam into their custody. She is now being taken to Meghalaya for further interrogation and an in-depth investigation into all aspects of the case.
Sonam Accused Of Killing Husband During Honeymoon
Sonam is accused of murdering her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon in Shillong. After being missing under mysterious circumstances for nearly 17 days, she resurfaced in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
She was later taken into custody by Meghalaya Police and presented before a court, which granted 72-hour police custody for interrogation. Following the court’s order, Sonam was taken to Shillong under tight security for the next phase of the investigation.
