Rain Alert Across Uttar Pradesh Today, IMD Issues Thunderstorm Warning

The Meteorological Department has predicted no significant change in the maximum temperature over the next 24 hours. A sudden drop of 2-4 degrees is expected in the next 48 hours.

UP Weather Forecast: Several Uttar Pradesh districts, including Noida and Ghaziabad, experienced heavy rain accompanied by strong winds on Sunday. An orange alert for thunderstorms and rain has been issued for these areas for Monday. Heavy rain is expected in most districts of western UP today, with winds gusting up to 30-50 kmph.

Eastern UP, however, is expected to remain dry. People in these areas will experience humid weather. According to the Meteorological Department, most districts in western UP will experience rain today, accompanied by thunder, lightning, and strong winds..

Light rain is likely in a few places in eastern UP, though no warnings have been issued. This spell of rain is expected to continue until June 5. Dry weather is forecast from June 6 onwards.

Heatwave To Intensify From June 6

The Meteorological Department has predicted no significant change in the maximum temperature over the next 24 hours. However, a sudden drop of 2-4 degrees is expected in the next 48 hours, followed by a rise of 3-5 degrees Celsius. A heatwave is anticipated from June 6.

Heavy rain with strong winds is likely in most parts of Noida, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Kasganj, Budaun, Sambhal, Bareilly, Rampur, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Farrukhabad, Mainpuri, Kannauj, Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Banda and Chitrakoot in UP today.

Light rain is possible at one or two places in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha, Moradabad, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Bahraich, Shravasti, Fatehpur, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Jaunpur, Mirzapur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Chandauli and Sonbhadra.
