Railways Cancels Several Trains During Sawan; Check Full List

The Indian Railways is set to cancel and divert multiple trains in the coming weeks due to ongoing infrastructure and maintenance work. Track maintenance and infrastructure work in Jharkhand have necessitated temporary blocks on several routes. As a result, many trains have been cancelled or rescheduled between mid-August and early September 2025.

Here’s A List Of Affected Trains:

18175/18176 Hatia–Jharsuguda MEMU Express – Cancelled from 18 Aug to 10 Sep 2025

17007 Charlapalli–Darbhanga Express (via Ranchi) – Cancelled on 26 Aug & 9 Sep

17008 Darbhanga–Charlapalli Express (via Ranchi) – Cancelled on 29 Aug & 12 Sep

18523 Visakhapatnam–Banaras Express (via Ranchi) – Cancelled on 27 Aug, 31 Aug, 7 & 10 Sep

18524 Banaras–Visakhapatnam Express (via Ranchi) – Cancelled on 28 Aug, 1 Sep, 8 & 11 Sep

17005 Hyderabad–Raxaul Express (via Ranchi) – Cancelled on 28 Aug

17006 Raxaul–Hyderabad Express (via Ranchi) – Cancelled on 31 Aug

07051/07052 & 07005/07006 Charlapalli–Raxaul Special (via Ranchi) – Cancelled between 30 Aug and 4 Sep

18309/18310 Sambalpur–Jammu Tawi Express (via Ranchi) – Cancelled on 7 & 9 Sep

13425/13426 Malda Town–Surat Express (via Ranchi) – Cancelled on 6 & 8 Sep

15027/15028 Gorakhpur–Sambalpur Express – Cancelled on 8 & 9 Sep

Passengers should verify train updates via the IRCTC website or official railway app before travel to avoid inconvenience.

These Trains To Be Short-Terminated At Hatia Station

The Indian Railways has announced the short termination of two trains due to operational and maintenance reasons. Passengers are advised to plan their journey accordingly.

Train No. 15028 – Gorakhpur–Sambalpur Express will be short-terminated at Hatia station on the following dates: August 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31, 2025. The train will not run beyond Hatia to Sambalpur on these days.

Train No. 15027 – Sambalpur–Gorakhpur Express will also be short-terminated at Hatia station on: August 24, 26, 28, 30 and September 1, 2025. The train will not operate between Sambalpur and Hatia on these dates
