Pune: Two Missing Girls Found Dead In Drum, Chef Arrested For Rape & Murder Of Sisters
Two sisters who went missing while playing outside their home in Pune on Wednesday were found dead in a drum near a building. The girls are suspected to have been murdered after being abused.
Pune Crime News: The bodies of two girls, aged 8 and 9, who went missing from Rajguru Nagar in Pune on Wednesday afternoon, were found in a drum in the night.
The two sisters went missing while playing near their home on Wednesday afternoon. Their families searched for them, but they could not be found. After that, every building, road, and lane was searched. At night, the bodies of both the girls were found in a drum near a building in Rajguru Nagar.
Girls Suspected To Have Been Raped Before Murder
Considering the condition of the bodies, the police suspect that the girls were raped. The Rajguru Nagar police have sent the bodies of both girls to Sassoon Hospital for post-mortem examination and further investigation is underway.
Chef Suspected To Have Killed Pune Sisters
The lens of suspicion is on a chef, who lives above the victims' family's house. Initial investigation by the police indicated that this chef might have murdered the two sisters. According to sources, the chef lured both sisters to his house, where he tried to rape one of them.
As the girl resisted and started screaming, the accused killed her. Fearing capture, he then killed the other sister as well. After that, he allegedly dumped bodies in a drum under a building near his house. However, the exact sequence of events will be clear after the autopsy report comes up.
The Rajguru Nagar police had initially registered a kidnapping case. The accused chef was arrested.
