Protest Erupts In Rajasthan's Jaipur Over Hit-&-Run That Killed 3, Left Many Injured — WATCH
A hit-and-run case in Jaipur, Rajasthan, has sparked protests after a car killed three people and injured several others while under the influence of alcohol.

A protest has broke out in Rajasthan's Jaipur over hit and run case in which three people died and several others were injured when a car hit several vehicles and pedestrians in Nahargarh area yesterday evening.

As per the officials, the accused driver is identified as Usman, was he was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. After the incident, as the car driver tried to flee, the locals chased it and successfully stopped it.
Additional DCP Bajrang Singh Shekhawat said, as quoted by ANI, "The accused, Usman, has been arrested. He was in an inebriated state. 3 people died and 6 were injured in the incident. Out of the 6 injured, 3 have been discharged and 3 have been admitted to the hospital, their condition is normal. The accused's car has been recovered. Further investigation is underway. The accused deals in medical equipment and the car belonged to his company."

Dr Deepak Maheshwari, Principal of SMS Medical College said, "3 people have died in the accident - 2 were brought dead and one who was seriously injured also died. There were about 10 patients, 2-3 people were discharged after treatment. 3-4 people who are admitted are not in critical condition..."
