About Indore Metro's Priority Corridor

Trains on the 'Priority Corridor' will operate at 30-minute intervals, with initial services using train sets consisting of three to four coaches. Each train set comprises three metro cars. Efforts are also underway to integrate the metro system with city bus services to improve connectivity across Indore.

The complete metro network is designed to span 31.32 kilometers, featuring 22.42 kilometers of elevated track and 8.7 kilometers running underground.

A total of 28 stations are planned along the Yellow Line, which is envisioned to offer a comfortable, efficient, and environmentally sustainable transit option.

The entire project is estimated to cost Rs 7,500 crore, with the first operational stretch of 6 kilometers accounting for approximately Rs 1,520 crore.

PM Modi will also inaugurate Datia and Satna airports in Madhya Pradesh, which will open new opportunities for industry, tourism, education, and healthcare in the Vindhya region.
