Patna University Professor's Car Damaged In Crude Bomb Blast After Clash On Premises
A bomb attack occurred at Patna University's Darbhanga House following a clash between two groups. Professor Lakshmi Narayan's car was damaged in the attack.

The Darbhanga House at Patna University was witness to a bomb attack on Wednesday. The area, which comes under the jurisdiction of the Pirbahore police station, was on high alert after a clash between two groups.
The Head of Department of Culture Department, Professor Lakshmi Narayan's, car was damaged in the attack. As soon as the incident was reported, a Pirbahor police team rushed to the spot.
The clash was reportedly related to the upcoming students' union elections.
The police have now secured a CCTV footage that has captured the image of the man hurling the bomb.
A police team, led by ASP Diksha Bhaware, is investigating the case. "We received the information today that a ‘sutli bomb’ was fired and a car has been damaged in that. We are analysing the camera footage," Bhaware said.

Professor Narayan, however, said that the clash was unrelated to him. He said was taking a class when he heard the blast.
