A terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam that killed at least 1 and injured nearly 10 people, among whom were tourists from Rajasthan. The terrorists carried out the 'hit-and-run' attack on Tuesday, April 22, right ahead of the Amarnath Yatra. A video has now come to the fore that shows one of the tourists lying on the ground after being hit by a bullet fired by the terrorists in Baisaran Valley.

The video taken with a mobile camera by a local shows the injured tourist lying motionless as the firing from the terrorists continued. It is yet to be confirmed if the person lying on the ground in the video is the deceased. The loud noise of the firing could also be heard. The terrorists were firing at the terrorists from the upper reaches of the valley.

Immediately after the attack, the injured were sent to hospitals, and security forces became active. A large-scale manhunt has been launched to track down the terrorists.

Pakistan's TRF Suspected Behind Attack
Quick reaction teams of the CRPF were deployed at the site of the Pahalgam terror attack. According to intelligence sources, Lashkar-e-Taiba-affiliated TRF (The Resistance Front) was involved in the attack.
Two to three attackers arrived in police uniforms and carried out the targeted attack on the tourist. Previously, terrorists were known to take the garb of army personnel to infiltrate Jammu and Kashmir.
