'Operation Sindoor Mere Show, Ceasefire Deeply Hurt Public': Swami Maurya's Controversial Remark

Swami Prasad Maurya criticised the BJP, accusing them of dismantling education, staging fake nationalism, and exhibiting double standards in law enforcement. He alleged inaction against BJP members' wrongdoings while targeting ordinary citizens.

National President of the Apni Janata Party and former Cabinet Minister Swami Prasad Maurya launched a scathing attack on the BJP during a rally today. Maurya alleged that the government is attempting to dismantle rural education by planning to shut down 27,000 primary schools and simultaneously bulldozing madrasas.

He further claimed that Operation Sindoor was nothing but a show, which fizzled out within two days.

“Prime Minister Modi is engaging in staged drama (noora kushti) with the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The ceasefire has deeply hurt the public,” he said.

Swami Prasad Maurya also said that a Deputy Chief Minister insulted all three armed forces, yet no action was taken against him — which, he said, reflects the true character of the BJP.

Maurya highlighted alleged law-and-order and double standards under the current government, saying, “Karni Sena members wave swords and guns in large numbers, but in this jungle raj, no action is taken because they belong to the Chief Minister’s caste. Meanwhile, people get FIRs filed against them just for cutting cakes with a knife. BJP leaders are never held accountable.”

He added that those who insult the army are forgiven, mocking BJP's version of nationalism: “This is not nationalism — this is treachery.”

"We Will Expose BJP's Real Face"

Swami Prasad Maurya declared, “We will expose the BJP’s real agenda, character, and face before the public. Had they crossed 400 seats, they would’ve changed the Constitution.”

He also congratulated the people of Ayodhya for not letting the BJP surpass 400 seats in the recent elections, saying, “They have forced the BJP to rely on crutches.”

Sindoor Turned Into Barood: PM Modi

PM Modi asserted that enemies have learnt what happens when 'sindoor' becomes gunpowder, and lauded India's armed forces for creating such a trap that Pakistan was forced to go down on its knees. In his first public address in Rajasthan after Operation Sindoor that was launched in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, the Prime Minister slammed Pakistan, and said in response to the attack, "we destroyed nine biggest terror hideouts in 22 minutes".

"The world and the enemies of the country have seen what happens when 'sindoor' turns into 'barood' [gunpowder]," he said at the public meeting in Palana, adding, "Those out to wipe out 'sindoor' were reduced to dust".
