Maharashtra: Family Of 4 Dies By Suicide In Nagpur, Suicide Note Reveals Family Was Under Stress Over Son’s Arrest
The deceased was identified as retired teacher Vijay Madhukar Pachori (68), his wife Mala (55), and their sons Ganesh (38) and Deepak (36).
A couple and their two sons were found dead at their home in the Nagpur district of Maharashtra on Wednesday. A suicide note recovered from the scene suggested that the family was under severe stress after the arrest of one of the sons in a fraud case, according to a Nagpur rural police official.
The neighbours, noticing an unusual silence at the family's residence in Mowad village, informed the police. When the cops broke the door to enter the home, they discovered the four family members hanging from ceiling hooks.
