Another Hit & Run In Mumbai, Speeding Vehicle Mows Down 45-Year-Old Man

A speeding vehicle mowed down a man in Ghatkopar as he was going to work.

Another case of hit and run has come to light in the Ghatkopar area of ​​Mumbai. A 45-year-old man died after being hit by a speeding vehicle. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Vitthal Mahamuni. Mumbai's Ghatkopar Police has registered a case and started a hunt for the driver.

According to the information received from Ghatkopar Police, the incident occurred when the man was on his way to Ghatkopar Railway Station near Swaraj Mathadi and General Labour and Transport Union office on Ghatkopar-Andheri Link Road. Sanjay worked as a daily wage labourer.

Sanjay suffered serious injuries in the accident and was immediately rushed to the nearby Rajawadi Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. On receiving the information, Ghatkopar police reached the spot and are searching for the driver with the help of CCTV footage of the incident.
