Mumbai Teen Dies After Crashing Bicycle Into Wall During Stunt — On Cam

Neeraj, a resident of Mira Road, had cycled to the fort on Monday (September 28). While riding the fort's steep slope at high speed, he lost control and collided with a wall near a house gate.

A 16-year-old teen lost his life after crashing his bicycle into a wall while performing a stunt in Mumbai. The accident was captured by a CCTV camera from a nearby shop. The incident took place as he sped down a steep slope at Ghodbunder Fort in the Mira-Bhayandar area.

Media reports say, Neeraj, a resident of Mira Road, had cycled to the fort on Monday (September 28). While riding the fort's steep slope at high speed, he lost control and collided with a wall near a house gate.

The CCTV video showed two boys passing by the nearest shop. After a while, they suddenly rushed to their right, noticing something coming quickly toward them. Just as they turned, a boy on a bicycle crashed into a nearby wall. After the crash, he fell to the ground. Seeing this, both boys ran toward the injured teen. Another man in white clothing also headed toward the teen after he fell. Later, a few more people joined to help the 16-year-old teen.

When they discovered the teen was unresponsive, rushed him to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Government Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Kashigaon police have recorded the incident as a sudden death.

Boy Dies From Electrocution In Andhra Pradesh After His Bicycle Entangles In Exposed Live Wire

In a separate incident, an 11-year-old boy was electrocuted in Andhra Pradesh's Kadapa town on Wednesday afternoon (August 22) while on his way from home to school. The incident occurred as his bicycle was entangled in an exposed live wire, according to the CCTV footage. Another boy, riding a pillion was seriously injured in the incident.

The victim identified as Tanvir, 11, and Aadam, 10 were heading home from school when they came in contact with a dangling exposed live wire and collapsed on the ground while the cycle caught fire. 

The CCTV footage showed passersby rushing towards the boys to remove the wire and rescue them. Tanvir died on the spot while Aadam was shifted to a hospital in critical condition, according to NDTV.
