A double-decker bus returning from Maha Kumbh collided with a stationary bus, killing three and injuring over two dozen in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura.

Mathura (UP), Feb 11 (PTI) Three persons were killed and over two dozen passengers injured when a double-decker bus returning from the Maha Kumbh rammed into another stationary bus on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura on Tuesday, officials said.

Two passengers standing outside the stationary bus, also a double-decker, were crushed and died on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries during treatment.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Pandey, the accident occurred when a bus returning from the Kumbh developed a technical snag on the expressway.
