Massive Fire Breaks Out Near Noida Sector 128, No Injuries Reported

The fire broke out in a garbage dump near Greater Noida Expressway and gradually spread towards the forests.

A massive fire erupted near Sector 128 in Noida on Thursday evening, sending plumes of smoke into the sky and causing panic among nearby residents. The blaze started in a garbage dump near the Greater Noida Expressway and quickly spread toward nearby forests.

Though the massive fire quickly spread to the nearby trees, fire brigades and police were rushed to the site. Videos on social media showed the massive blaze visible from a distance. 

As per the latest reports, the police and fire brigades have arrived on the scene and contained the fire. 

Meanwhile, several Noida residents took to social media, sharing visuals of the fire engulfing trees. As per local reports, the fire has been contained.

The videos showed the smoke from the fire spreading to the roads lowering the visibility. 

Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar said that the fire was brought under control with the help of fire brigades. He said that the fire has been doused and the fire-fighting teams are working to cool it down.

There have been no casualties reported after the incident. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
