Man Electrocuted To Death In Noida, 2 Others Remain Critical

The first incident occurred in Sarfabad village under Sector-113 police station limits, where 32-year-old Jameel, son of Shahrukh, suffered a severe electric shock at his home on Sunday night.

Late-night electrocution incidents at multiple locations in Noida have triggered panic among residents. One person died, while two others were critically injured and have been referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for treatment.

The first incident occurred in Sarfabad village under Sector-113 police station limits, where 32-year-old Jameel, son of Shahrukh, suffered a severe electric shock at his home on Sunday night. His family rushed him to Noida District Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Inspector Krishna Gopal Sharma, in charge of Sector-113 police station, confirmed that the police reached the site after receiving information and sent the body for post-mortem. Initial investigations suggest that faulty domestic wiring may have caused the electrocution.

Two More Critical In Separate Incidents

In a second incident reported in the Sector-63 police station area, 24-year-old Rahul was also electrocuted at his home. He was initially taken to the district hospital but was later shifted to Safdarjung Hospital in a critical condition due to his deteriorating health.

Station House Officer Awadhesh Pratap Singh stated that Rahul’s condition remains serious and a thorough investigation is underway.

A third incident occurred under the Sector-39 police station, where a 32-year-old Devendra received a severe electric shock. He too was rushed to the district hospital and subsequently referred to Safdarjung Hospital owing to his critical condition.

The string of electrocution cases has raised serious concerns about domestic electrical safety in residential areas. Authorities are investigating all three incidents, and police have assured appropriate legal action if negligence or technical faults are found.

Local administration has urged residents to regularly inspect electrical wiring and appliances in their homes to prevent such tragic accidents in the future.
