Leopard Snatches Away Pet Dog In Pune Village — Watch
The leopard attack in Pune has left the villagers fearful, and they have called on the forest department to capture the animal immediately.
A pet dog was killed by a leopard in the Pune district of Maharashtra on Saturday night. The incident occurred in the Warulwadi area near Narayangaon and was caught on CCTV. With multiple leopard sightings of late, residents of Junnar tehsil are now living in fear.
The CCTV footage shows the leopard emerging from a dark alley around 11 pm, grabbing the pet dog, and running off. Another dog is seen attempting to chase the leopard, but to no avail.
Local villagers have called on the forest department to capture the leopard immediately.

As per an NDTV report, a leopard was also spotted on the campus of the Rajarambapu Institute of Technology on the outskirts of Pune a month ago, leading to a search operation involving forest and fire brigade officials, as well as wildlife experts.
