Over 50 Crore Devotees Take Holy Dip In Sangam, Video Show Massive Crowd At Maha Kumbh

The 45-day Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, India, has witnessed a record of over 50 crore devotees taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam since its commencement on January 13, 2025.

The 45-day spiritual Maha Kumbh which commenced on January 13 is witnessing a record gathering of devotees taking dip at the Triveni Sangam -- the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati rivers -- in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

As per the details, so far, more than 50 crore people have taken a holy dip.

A devotee Rajkumar, said, as quoted by news agency ANI, "We have come here from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. We have taken our holy dip. Police are present at all the chowks to guide the devotees. Arrangements have been made for the devotees so that they can reach their destination. There is a huge crowd at the railway station and the ghat, but things have been managed well..."

Another devotee Kamal, said, "I have just arrived here from Nainital, Uttarakhand. So far, I can see that the arrangements are good. There is a lot of crowd. Trains are full but people have a lot of enthusiasm to take holy dip at Maha Kumbh..."

Earlier, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, posted on X and said, "Maha Kumbh-2025, Prayagraj is the biggest event in the world, it has not happened anywhere else. This is the biggest event till date which has attracted 51 crore devotees till now..."
