'Ajmal Kasab' Bomb Threat At Jaipur's ESI Hospital Triggers Security Alert

A bomb threat email, purportedly from Ajmal Kasab, prompted the evacuation of Jaipur's ESI Hospital. Police, bomb disposal, and fire services are conducting a thorough search.

A bomb threat email sent in the name of Ajmal Kasab has triggered panic at the ESI Hospital in Jaipur. The alarming message prompted hospital authorities and security agencies to spring into action.

Soon after receiving the email, the hospital was evacuated as a precaution. Police teams, bomb disposal squad, fire brigade, civil defence personnel, and other emergency units rushed to the spot. A thorough search operation is currently underway across the hospital premises.

So far, no suspicious object has been found. Initial investigations suggest it may be the work of a mischief-maker, but officials are not taking any chances. The cyber cell has been handed the email for further technical analysis.

Security was tightened in and around the hospital, with movement restrictions imposed until the premises are declared safe. Authorities have assured that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure public safety.

As soon as the threat surfaced, the hospital administration wasted no time. Police were immediately notified, prompting a swift and coordinated response. Bomb squads, sniffer dog units, the fire brigade, civil defence teams, and other emergency services were rushed to the site. The hospital was quickly evacuated and a meticulous search operation was launched.

Despite hours of combing through the premises, no suspicious object was found. Preliminary investigation points towards a hoax, likely the work of a mischief-maker trying to stoke fear.

Cyber Cell Joins Probe, Security Tightened

The local police station has taken the matter seriously and is now working closely with the cyber cell to trace the origin of the email. For now, movement inside the hospital remains restricted as a precaution. Security agencies remain on high alert, leaving no room for complacency.

A String of Threats Unnerves the City

This is not an isolated incident. Jaipur has witnessed a disturbing pattern of similar bomb threats over the past several weeks.

On May 8, 12, and 13, threatening emails warned of blasts at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium. The message on May 13 also included a demand for justice in a rape case. Police investigations led to the arrest of a woman from Ahmedabad, who allegedly sent multiple threatening emails to Jaipur authorities.

Just days earlier, on May 9, an email was sent to the official ID of Jaipur Metro, threatening to blow up stations and trains. The message referenced a cryptic “Operation Sindur.” Fortunately, as in previous cases, no explosives or suspicious materials were found.
