Pak Fighter Jets Shot Down In Jammu, Loud Explosions Heard In The City — Top Points

Earlier today, Pakistan attempted to target military installations in 15 cities, including Srinagar, Pathankot, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh that got foiled by the Indian armed forces.

1. India shot down a Pakistani F-16 Fighter jet in Jammu. Pakistan targeted Jammu with loitering munitions. Sirens were heard in Akhnoor and other places in the union territory.

2. A complete blackout has been enforced in Jammu, Udhampur, Uri, Baramulla and Samba.

3. 8 Missiles from Pakistan directed at Satwari, Samba, RS Pura and Arnia.

4. A senior Jammu Administration official said the situation is normal now and the blackout is precautionary. People were advised to stay indoors and follow SOPs issued by NDMA and the government.

5. The hill shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi also witnessed a complete blackout on Thursday evening.

6. Pak troops resort to shelling along LoC in Kupwara, Baramulla districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

8. The Jammu Police has requested all residents to switch off all types of lights during the blackout period.
