Delhi Assembly Session 2024: Delhi Cabinet minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has hit back at BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta's allegation of the Aam Aadmi Party colluding with Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators. Bharadwaj put the ball in the BJP's court, demanding that Union Minister Amit Shah and BJP leaders should explain how Rohingyas and Bangladeshis could infiltrate India and reach Delhi, if Gupta's allegation was true.
"The responsibility of stopping them at the country's border lies with the central government. Is the government sleeping along the borders," Saurabh Bharadwaj lashed out.

On Friday, Aam Aadmi Party convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal raised the issue of law and order in the Delhi assembly. On this, BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta said that NRC should be implemented in the Union Territory.
Responding to the questions raised by Vijendra Gupta, Saurabh Bhardwaj said, " How many gangsters of those mentioned by Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Assembly are Bangladeshis? They are not Rohingyas or from any particular community. Their names are printed in the newspapers every day? Vijendra Gupta should furnish the list of Rohingya infiltrators then."
"If there are Rohingya and Bangladeshi gangsters, Vijendra Gupta should be ashamed. The law and order of Delhi and the security of the country's border lie with the central government. How are these people entering the country," Bharadwaj asked.
On the issue of bus marshals, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the BJP has removed lakhs of poor people from their jobs in Delhi. "The BJP is a party which works against the poor," he said.
