Shocking details have emerged in the brutal murder case of Haryanvi model Sheetal, also known as Simmi Chaudhary. In an exclusive conversation with ABP News, DSP Satish Kumar said the model's lover Sunil has confessed to killing her over the growing distance in their relationship and her interactions with another man named Vishal.
As per DSP Kumar, Sunil had premeditated the crime. He carried a knife in his car, anticipating a confrontation with Sheetal. The murder took place inside the car itself. Investigators have acquired multiple CCTV footage clips that reportedly track the movements of the accused, strengthening the timeline of events.
Sheetal, Her Lover Were Married
The case has taken a grim turn with revelations that both Sheetal and Sunil were married and had children from their marriages. This adds a complex emotional layer to the investigation, suggesting the possibility of long-term conflict and secrecy between the two.
After the murder, Sunil allegedly drove the car to a canal and deliberately submerged it with the windows open. This allowed Sheetal's body to be carried downstream, eventually being discovered in the Reliance Link Canal near Khanda village in Sonipat.
The Panipat Police will present Sunil before the District Sessions Court today and are expected to seek at least a two-day remand. During this time, the crime scene will be recreated to trace the exact sequence of events. Police believe the interrogation during remand could lead to key revelations in the case.
