The one-minute-28-second clip begins with a verbal spat between Akanksha and her mother-in-law near the staircase of their home.

In a shocking incident from Ghaziabad’s Kavi Nagar area, an elderly woman was violently assaulted and dragged by her daughter-in-law, Akanksha, following a heated argument. The brutal incident was captured on CCTV and has since gone viral, sparking public outrage.

The one-minute-28-second clip begins with a verbal spat between Akanksha and her mother-in-law near the staircase of their home. Akanksha, seen carrying two bags, is accompanied by her mother, who records the altercation on her phone. The situation escalates when the elderly woman attempts to stop the filming, prompting Akanksha to intervene.

The footage shows Akanksha slapping her mother-in-law, pushing her to the ground, and hitting her repeatedly. Despite her own mother’s attempt to restrain her, Akanksha continues the attack. At one point, the elderly woman tries to flee and knocks on a nearby door, but Akanksha drags her back, pins her against a wall, and throws her down. She then pulls the woman by her limbs down the staircase, discarding her slippers in the process.

Woman Dragged Inside As Door Opens

As the door opens, Akanksha is seen pulling the elderly woman into the house.

Akanksha, a software engineer, has been married to Antariksh for two and a half years. While her husband works in Gurugram, Akanksha reportedly works from home.

Following the incident, a case has been registered at the Kavi Nagar Police Station. Police confirmed that an investigation is underway and that statements from all involved parties will be recorded.
