Food Delivery Agent Thrashes Customer For 'Not Answering Phone Call' In Ghaziabad, 3 Arrested
The incident took place at 9 am in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Saturday when the brick kiln businessman, was on a call and unable to respond to the delivery agent’s call.

A food delivery agent allegedly threatened a customer and vandalised multiple vehicles after the customer failed to answer his call due to being engaged in a long phone conversation, police stated. The situation escalated into a violent altercation involving guns and sticks, leading to the arrest of three individuals.
According to a report by India Today, the incident captured on CCTV, took place at 9 am in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Saturday when Aadhar Chaudhary, a brick kiln businessman, was on a call and unable to respond to the delivery agent’s call.
Later, when Chaudhary finally answered, the delivery agent allegedly hurled abuses and misbehaved with him. When Chaudhary objected to his behavior, the delivery agent reportedly threatened to retaliate.
An hour later, a group of five to six men, including the delivery agent, arrived at Chaudhary’s residence on motorcycles and fired gunshots outside his house. The attackers then proceeded to damage two cars, two scooters, and a bike parked on the property, police said.
Nandgram ACP Poonam Mishra stated that three individuals—the food delivery agent and his two associates—were taken into custody following a complaint lodged by Chaudhary. Based on CCTV footage and interrogations, the police are actively working to identify and locate the remaining suspects.
Food Delivery Agent Killed In Nagpur
In a separate incident, on February 5, a 22-year-old food delivery agent lost his life, and his friend was seriously injured after a speeding car hit their motorcycle in the Nagpur city of Maharashtra, police said.
According to a report by PTI, the car driver was taken into custody after the incident, which occurred late Monday night at Ajni Square in the Dhantoli police station area.
According to a Dhantoli police official, the two victims were on their way to Manewada to deliver a parcel when their two-wheeler was struck by the car. Both riders were rushed to Mayo Hospital, where the food delivery agent, Chetan Rajeshwar Gawade, was pronounced dead.
Police confirmed that the deceased was employed with the online food delivery platform Zomato. Meanwhile, his 23-year-old friend, who sustained severe injuries, is currently undergoing treatment.
