Ayodhya Ram Darbar: The Ram Darbar and seven other temples in the Ram Temple located in Ayodhya were consecrated on Thursday, June 5. The first picture of the Ram Darbar was revealed during this event. The consecration ceremony took place in the presence of CM Yogi Adityanath. The CM offered prayers before the Ram Darbar before the consecration rituals on the first floor of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

On this occasion, the Ram Temple has been decorated grandly. Thousands of devotees from across the country and abroad are present in Ayodhya as the Ram Darbar on the first floor of the temple was consecrated today. The idols of Shri Ram, Mata Janaki, and Hanuman have been installed in the Ram Darbar.

Ram Temple Security Arrangements

The administration has made robust security arrangements for this grand event. Thousands of devotees from India and abroad are reaching Ayodhya to witness this historic moment. SP Security Balaramachari Dubey and temple construction in-charge Gopal Rao inspected the arrangements of the temple.

The temple is being monitored with modern security equipment. Teams of ATS, CRPF, PAC, and civil police personnel have been deployed.

The first consecration ceremony was that of the Ram Lalla idol at the temple complex on January 22, 2024 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mahant Raghuvar Sharan, the chief priest of Rasik Niwas Temple in Ayodhya, said, "This year, Ganga Dussehra will not only be sacred but also historic, as after a long struggle of 500 years, Lord Ram, known as 'Rajarama', will be ceremonially installed on the first floor of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya."

According to Hindu scriptures, Ganga Dussehra marks the day the holy river Ganga descended to Earth from Lord Shiva's locks, moved by King Bhagirath's penance.
