Fire Breaks Out At Girls' Hostel In Greater Noida's Knowledge Park: Video

A fire broke out at a girls' hostel in Greater Noida, forcing students to jump for safety. A viral video shows two girls trying to escape, with one falling. No casualties were reported.

A massive fire broke out late in the evening at Annapurna Girls' Hostel in the Knowledge Park J Block area, creating panic among students. The fire, reportedly caused by an air conditioner compressor explosion, spread quickly, forcing several students to jump from the building to save their lives.

A video of the incident shows two girls trapped on a balcony, desperately trying to escape. Both attempted to climb down and stood on an air conditioning unit. The hostel's exterior wall was lined with a steel fence, making evacuation difficult. In the chaos, some people were seen trying to place a ladder inside the hostel premises to help them. However, while attempting to descend, one of the girls lost her balance and fell inside the hostel area, while the other managed to climb down safely using the ladder.
