Indian Air Force's Jaguar Crashes In Rajasthan, Pilot Among 2 Killed

Officials from the Indian Army and Air Force are on their way to the site, and rescue operations are underway after the plane crash in Rajasthan's Churu.

A major mishap occurred in Rajasthan's Churu district on Wednesday when a Jaguar of the Indian Air Force crashed near Ratangarh town, killing the pilot. The incident took place near Bhanuda village, causing panic in the area.

According to initial reports, the aircraft belonged to the Indian Armed Forces. Local residents reported hearing a loud explosion followed by plumes of smoke rising from the crash site.

Police and district administration teams have rushed to the location. It is currently unclear how many people were on board the aircraft, and no casualties have been officially confirmed yet.

Visuals from the spot showed plumes of smoke in the area where the fighter jet crashed.

Officials from the Indian Army and Air Force are on their way to the site, and rescue operations are underway. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.

The aircraft crashed in an agricultural field in Bhanoda village around 1.25 pm, SHO Rajaldesar Kamlessh told PTI. He said human body parts were found near the crash site.
