Light Rain Likely To Continue In Delhi Today, IMD Issues Orange Alert
The maximum temperature is expected to be 36°C, with a minimum of 28°C. Air quality is currently in the 'satisfactory' category with an AQI of 80.

The national capital and adjacent areas will continue to experience light to moderate rainfall with cloudy sky on Wednesday, according to the India Meteoroligcal Department. The IMD has issued an orange alert for rain in the city with maximum temperature for the day expected to settle at 36 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees above the normal, according to the weather department.
"Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm/lightning with gusty winds temporarily reaching 60 kilometres per hour during thunderstorm towards evening/tonight," said the IMD.
The air quality was recorded in the 'satisfactory' category as the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am stood at 80. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), an AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
The weather department issued a similar orange alert for heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning in East Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and East Uttar Pradesh.
A yellow warning has been issued for West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and West Rajasthan.
