Delhi Weather Today: The weather on Republic Day is promising to be pleasant. While there was fog in the morning, the freezing cold of the biting cold wave in the past few weeks was absent. The fog is also clearing up as the day progresses. 

The major concern was that of visibility on Republic Day. Poor visibility, as in 2022, would have prevented people, who have come from various states, from enjoying the Republic Day Parade, especially the flypast. With clear weather, people can click photos and shoot videos of the flypast.

As usual in Delhi winters, there was fog in the morning on Sunday, but it is not freezing cold, which is a relief for those who go out early in the morning. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to be clear on Sunday.  

The weather in the national capital Delhi has changed over the past week and the temperature has risen. The chill is now present only early in the morning and then in the evening. According to the India Meteorological Department, the temperature will drop again over the next two days.

Republic Day Weather: What Will The Temperature Be Like Today?

From January 28, the temperature is likely to rise again. The minimum temperature is also expected to remain above 10 degrees. Meanwhile, the Republic Day celebrations on Sunday are likely to be chilly. This is unlikely to cause any problems or disruption to the celebrations.

According to the IMD, the minimum temperature is likely to be around 7 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to be around 23 degrees Celsius.  Strong winds will also blow in Delhi, which will bring down the temperature.

The maximum temperature in Delhi on Friday was recorded at 23.8 degrees Celsius and the air quality was moderate. The minimum temperature was 8.6 degrees Celsius, which was 1.1 degrees above average and the humidity level during the day was between 72% and 42%.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the 24-hour average air quality index (AQI) was 199, which falls in the 'moderate' category. Air quality index (AQI) between 0 and 50 is considered good, between 51 and 100 is considered satisfactory, between 101 and 200 is considered moderate, between 201 and 300 is considered poor, between 301 and 400 is considered very poor and between 401 and 500 is considered severe.
