Delhi: 5-Year-Old Boy Beaten To Death At Brijpuri Madrasa, 3 Minor Inmates Arrested
Delhi Madarsa Death: Post-mortem revealed that the deceased 5-year-old boy also suffered from multiple internal injuries, including a ruptured liver and bleeding in his abdomen and right lung.
Delhi News: Three students, aged between 9 and 11, were arrested for allegedly beating a five-year-old boy to death in northeast Dayalpur of Delhi, police reported on Saturday. Initially, police confirmed that the boy had died under mysterious circumstances, with blisters observed on his neck, abdomen, and groin. However, a post-mortem revealed that the boy also suffered from multiple internal injuries, including a ruptured liver and bleeding in his abdomen and right lung.
Further investigation covered that he was beaten by other inmates as well, who were subsequently arrested, he said as per news agency PTI. During interrogation, the accused is said to have given conflicting explanations for the incident. One claimed that the victim had insulted them, leading to a fight, while another stated that they beat him, believing his death would result in a holiday from the madrasa.

Delhi Madarsa Death: CCTV Footage Confirms Events As Probe Underway
CCTV footage confirmed the events, and the police are continuing to investigate the involvement of others. The police received a call at 9:52 PM on Friday about the death of the boy at Brijpuri madrasa.
"At 6.30 pm on Friday, the boy's mother was informed that her son was sick. She took him to a private hospital in Brijpuri, where doctors declared him dead," a police officer said,as per PTI. She then returned to the madrasa with his son's body, where a large crowd gathered, demanding action against the administration.
The officer stated that police arrived, took the body to GTB Hospital's mortuary, and assured the crowd that an investigation would be conducted, after which the crowd dispersed.
The boy's mother, who works as a domestic helper in the Punjabi Bagh area of West Delhi, informed police that her son had been studying at the madrasa for the past 5 months. The father of the deceased lives in Uttar Pradesh and visits once a month. The couple has two other children, a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl, who live with the mother.
