COVID-19 Cases Rise In Rajasthan, Jaipur Reports Highest Cases In State

The total number of coronavirus infections in Rajasthan this season has reached 625.

Rajasthan News: The number of new coronavirus cases in Rajasthan continues to rise. Several people are getting infected with the virus every day. In the last 24 hours, 21 new cases have been reported in the state. The total number of coronavirus infections in Rajasthan this season has reached 625. Among these, there are 245 active cases. As many as 379 infected individuals have recovered, while two people have died.

The continuous increase in coronavirus cases has caused a stir in Rajasthan. Here, 25 infected individuals have been admitted to different hospitals, while the rest are in home isolation. The health department is also monitoring those in home isolation. Among the 21 people infected in the last 24 hours, there are two elderly people over 80 years of age, while 15 youths between the ages of 18 and 35 are also included.

383 People Infected With COVID In Jaipur

The highest number of cases has emerged from the capital, Jaipur. Around 60 per cent of the state's cases are from Jaipur alone. 383 people in Jaipur have been infected, followed by Udaipur (79) and Jodhpur (36).

In addition, 14 people have been infected in Chittorgarh and ten each in Ajmer and Deedwana. The infection has spread across almost the entire Rajasthan. 

The central and state governments have already issued advisories regarding the increasing cases. The state government has advised people to wear masks in public places and follow social distancing. Although it is being claimed that the new variant of COVID-19 is not as dangerous as before, people need to take precautions.
