4 Dead, 2 Injured After Car Hits Barrier, Catches Fire On Bridge In Chhattisgarh
Four died after a car crashed into a bridge and burst into flames in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district; two others injured.

A devastating road accident in the early hours of Saturday claimed four young lives in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district, leaving people in shock and mourning. The incident took place near Kulgaon, under the jurisdiction of the Kanker police, when a car slammed into a bridge barrier and erupted into flames.
According to local police officials, the crash occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. as six individuals were traveling from Keshkal to Kanker. Preliminary accounts suggest that the group may have been inebriated at the time of the accident.
Two Survive With Injuries
Tragically, four passengers lost their lives on the spot. The force of the impact and the ensuing fire left no room for rescue, with the vehicle quickly consumed by flames. Two others survived the crash but sustained injuries. They were promptly rescued by police personnel responding to the scene and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have since registered a case and initiated a detailed investigation to determine the exact sequence of events that led to the fiery crash.
