Brothers Kill Man For Having 'Affair' With Mother, Toss His Intestines As Onlookers Watch

The incident occurred in Gujarat's Gandhinagar district on January 26 when Ratanji Thakor, a mason by profession, was on his job with his fellow workers.

In a shocking incident from Gujarat, two brothers allegedly stabbed their mother's lover to death and flung his intestines into the air in front of onlookers.

Police said that the crime was conducted by the two brothers due to their resentment toward the victim, identified as 45-year-old Ratanji Thakor.

The two accused believed that the victim's relationship with their mother 'insulted' and 'dishonoured' their dead father, a report in The Times of India said.

The incident occurred in Gujarat's Gandhinagar district on January 26 when Ratanji Thakor, a mason by profession, was on his job with his fellow workers.

The accused, Sanjay Thakor (27) and Jayesh Thakor (23), armed with a knife and a rod, approached Thakor in broad daylight. Jayesh hit the victim on the head with the rod, and as he collapsed. Meanwhile, Sanjay stabbed him repeatedly, during which his intestines came out. However, the two men didn't stop attacking his body.

The accused then took out the victim's intestines and tossed them into the air and sliced it. During the attack, the labourers present at the spot tried to intervene and save Thakor, but they failed to do so. Meanwhile, the two accused fled on a motorbike after the incident.

The report said that the victim had an affair with the accused's mother for over 15 years. In the FIR, the victim's son, Ajay, said that the two brothers had warned his father to stay away from their mother.

The two sides had also fought over the issue after which the villagers had called a panchayat on the issue.

"They have brawled with the victim a couple of times, too. The brothers even involved community elders in the matter, but their efforts to resolve the issue peacefully failed," a police official from the Kalol taluka police said.

The police have traced the two accused using their mobile location and arrested them. The weapons used in the murder have always been seized.

The Gandhinagar Police, in a statement, said, "Gandhinagar District Police took a legal action and arrested the accused of the murder that took place in Mokhasan village under Kalol Taluka Police Station area with deadly weapons within a few hours."
