Bihar Weather Turns Again, Rain Alert Issued For The North; Check Forecast In Your District
Bihar Weather Forecast 4 June 2025: Heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely to occur in as many as 29 districts. Strong winds are expected to accompany the rain.

Bihar Weather Today: Bihar's weather has been fluctuating as June dawned. Some areas have only cloudy skies, others are experiencing rain, and some are seeing a rise in temperature. On Wednesday, June 4, several districts are likely to experience cloudy skies with a possibility of thunderstorms and rain anytime.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a warning has been issued for heavy rain with strong winds in 29 districts of the state on June 4. This includes all districts of North Bihar and 10 districts of South Bihar.
According to the Regional Meteorological Centre in Patna, an upper air cyclonic circulation persists over Northwest Uttar Pradesh, currently observed at 1.5 km above mean sea level. Another upper air cyclonic circulation is located over East Bihar at 0.9 km above mean sea level. Due to its influence, rain is likely to continue in the eastern parts of the state.
Alert Issued For These Bihar Districts
According to the forecast, an orange alert has been issued for 12 districts in the eastern part of the state on Wednesday: Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj, Araria, Supaul, Madhepura, Saharsa, Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Munger, Jamui, and Banka. These districts are likely to experience strong winds (50-60 kmph), moderate to heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning.
A yellow alert has been issued for 12 districts in central and western North Bihar: East Champaran, West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, and Vaishali; and for Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, and Nawada districts in South Bihar. These districts are expected to get strong winds (30-40 kmph), light to moderate rain, and thunderstorms and lightning in some areas.
Morning Weather In Bihar
A rain alert was issued for North Bihar in the morning. Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, and Supaul districts are are getting showers rain in the morning.
On Tuesday, rain was reported in most districts of North Bihar, western parts of South Bihar, and Patna, although the intensity was low.
Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas, and Kaimur in the western region got more rainfall. The state also saw a drop in temperature on Tuesday. Patna recorded a temperature of 35.7°C, a decrease of 4.1°C, while Aurangabad recorded the highest temperature at 38.4°C.
The average state temperature was around 34°C. Madhubani recorded the lowest maximum temperature at 31.01°C.
