Bihar Notifies Commission For Development Of Upper Castes

Bihar's government, led by Nitish Kumar, established an upper caste development commission, appointing BJP's Mahachandra Singh as chairman and JDU's Rajiv Ranjan Prasad as vice-chairman.

The Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government has formed a commission for the development of upper castes. Senior BJP leader Mahachandra Singh has been made the chairman of this commission while JDU's national spokesperson and senior leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad has been made the vice-chairman. Dayanand Rai, Jai Krishna Jha, Rajkumar Singh have been appointed as members.

The development comes ahead of legislative elections in Bihar slated to take place later this year.
