Constable Removed After Viral Video Shows Him Dancing On Tej Pratap Yadav's Order
The action was taken after a viral video showed Tej Pratap Yadav instructing police personnel to dance during a Holi celebration at his residence in Patna on Saturday.

Constable Deepak Kumar, who was seen complying with RJD MLA Tej Pratap Yadav's instructions to dance in a public place, has now been removed from the post.
In an order, the Senior Superintendent of Police's office in Patna said another constable has now been deputed in place of Kumar.

The action was taken after a viral video showed Yadav instructing police personnel to dance during a Holi celebration at his residence in Patna on Saturday. The clip triggered sharp criticism from the ruling NDA parties.
In the video, Yadav is heard telling the policeman, “Ae sipahi, ek gana bajayenge usme tumko thumka lagana hai. Bura na mano Holi hai. Thumka lagao nahi toh suspend kar diye jaoge” (Hey, policeman, a song will be played, and you have to dance. Don’t mind, it's Holi. Dance or you will be suspended).

JD(U) national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad remarked, "‘Jungle raj’ has ended, but Lalu Yadav’s prince is threatening a policeman about the consequences if he does not follow his instructions to dance. Bihar has now changed. Be it Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, or any of Lalu Yadav’s family members—they need to understand that such acts have no place in the environment of this changing Bihar."
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla also criticised the incident, stating, "Like father, like son. First, the father—when he was Chief Minister—made law dance to his tunes and turned Bihar into a jungle raj. Now, the son, despite being out of power, is attempting to do the same through threats and pressure. He threatens police personnel with suspension if they do not dance. This is proof that RJD believes in jungle raj..."
