Car Runs Over Child Sitting On Cycle In MP, Here's What Happened Next — Video

Police have tracked down the car's owner through the vehicle's registration number and are actively searching for the suspect.

A child sitting on his bicycle and playing in front of the house was crushed by a car in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. The incident was captured on CCTV and surfaced on social media. The accident occurred in Chandrashekhar Ward of the Kotwali police station area.

The CCTV footage shows the child sitting calmly on his bicycle on a deserted street when a car approaches. Initially, the driver moves the vehicle back and forth around the boy, but after a moment, the car takes a turn and positions itself directly in front of the child. Without any hesitation, the driver runs him over before speeding away.

Despite the horrifying scene, the CCTV footage reveals a surprising twist. It shows the child miraculously surviving. After the driver flees, the young boy attempts to stand up but struggles due to pain and shock.

Police In Seach For Suspect

According to a report by News 18, bystanders rushed him to the hospital, where doctors confirmed that he was out of danger, bringing relief to his family. However, the boy has sustained serious injuries to his legs and is currently receiving treatment.

Based on the CCTV evidence, police have tracked down the car's owner through the vehicle's registration number and are actively searching for the suspect. The child’s family has demanded strict action against the driver. An investigation is underway, and authorities have assured that the culprit will be brought to justice.
