Investigation Launched In Eklavya Residential School

In response to the incident, Salikram Pachori, Principal of Eklavya Residential School, explained that various activities were held on Thursday to celebrate Sports Day, which left the children visibly exhausted. They were given milk before dinner and had breakfast on Friday morning.

The principal stated that indigestion caused the children to fall ill, with around 30 of them experiencing continuous vomiting and diarrhoea. As soon as their health deteriorated, a total of 108 ambulances were called to the school.

Bastar district Collector Vijay Dayaram stated that the children are in stable condition. A team has been established to investigate the cause of the mass illness at Eklavya Residential School. If negligence is discovered, stringent action will be taken against those responsible, he assured.
