Elderly Air India Flyer, 'Denied Wheelchair, Collapses At Airport
This incident comes in the wake of another troubling episode involving the airline. Earlier this month, an 82-year-old woman reportedly suffered a brain stroke and fell at Delhi Airport, allegedly due to Air India’s failure to provide a pre-booked wheelchair.
The elderly woman was scheduled to fly from Delhi to Bengaluru, and her family claimed that despite prior arrangements, the requested wheelchair was not made available upon her arrival at the airport. As a result, she had to navigate the terminal without assistance, leading to her fall and subsequent hospitalisation.
Air India, however, refuted the claim, stating that accusations of a one-hour delay in providing the wheelchair were unfounded.
