New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday stated that the Economic Survey 2022-23 provides a comprehensive analysis of India's growth trajectory and the global optimism regarding the nation.
Modi tweeted, "The Economic Survey presents a comprehensive analysis of India's growth trajectory including the global optimism towards our nation, focus on infra, growth in agriculture, industries and emphasis on futuristic sectors."

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also praised the Economic Survey 2023 and stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a "seasoned captain," has successfully guided the economy through the "rocky waters" of the Covid pandemic.

According to the Economic Survey, India's economy is expected to slow to 6.5% in the fiscal year that begins in April. The Economic Survey is prepared by Chief Economic Adviser (CEA) V Anantha Nageswaran. The Economic Survey gives a detailed account of the country's economic performance during the fiscal gone by and provides key data on macroeconomic indicators such as inflation, foreign exchange reserves, and the economic growth rate scenario.
