Petrol, Diesel Prices: Petrol Costs Rs 103 in Mumbai, Rs 100 in Bengaluru - Check Fuel Rates In Major Cities

Petrol prices has breached the Rs100 mark in seven States and Union Territories including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Ladakh.

The fuel price hike is going to burn a hole in your pocket as petrol and diesel prices were once again raised for the tenth time this month on Friday. According to the price notification by oil companies, petrol became dearer by 27 paise, while diesel rose by 28 paise.

After the latest hike petrol will be sold in Delhi at Rs96.93 per litre while diesel is being retailed at Rs 87.69. In the financial capital of Mumbai, petrol is costing Rs103.08 per litre, whereas diesel has touched Rs 95.14 per litre.

Bengaluru also joined the list of state capitals where petrol prices have breached the Rs 100-mark. The petrol is being sold at Rs100.17 a litre and diesel is costing Rs92.97 per litre.

Where petrol prices have breached the Rs 100 mark?

In May, Bhopal became the first state capital to breach the Rs100-mark in petrol prices. Soon, Jaipur and Mumbai followed while Hyderabad joined the list of the cities on Monday.

With the fuel prices touching an all-time high, petrol prices have breached the Rs100 mark in seven States and Union Territories including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Ladakh.

Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan near the border with Pakistan has the costliest fuel in the country -- petrol is priced at Rs108.07 a litre and diesel at Rs100.82.

Based on the crude oil prices in the international market, the government permits the oil companies to fix petrol and diesel prices. Accordingly, it changes on a daily basis which is called Dynamic Fuel Price
