Netflix To Allow Subscribers To Set Timer For Viewing Period
The new sleep timer feature allows the users to choose between four-time settings, including 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes or end of whatever users are watching, according to The Verge.
Adding yet another feature to its device primarily aimed at helping the users to sleep on time, Netflix is testing the possibility of adding a sleep time on Android devices which would assist the users to sleep on time.
The new sleep timer feature allows the users to choose between four-time settings, including 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes or end of whatever users are watching, according to The Verge.

The Verge report further states the Netflix app will automatically stop playing whatever you are watching at the end of the time period.
Besides ensuring a proper time sleep this would save a lot of battery on Android devices and would also ensure the episodes don't continue to play automatically, the report adds.

Netflix, which is as of now testing the feature only on Android devices, is likely to expand the same to other devices, including TV and laptops.
The company, however, said it also depends on whether the users are finding this feature useful.
