Individual Orders Tissot Watch Worth Rs 31,500 On Amazon, Receives Used Product

A user in Kolkata was left baffled after ordering a Tissot watch on Amazon. The individual, @Disciplined_Inv, shared on social media that he was cheated when he ordered the watch via the online delivery platform.

Sharing in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the investor said, “I had ordered a Tissot PRX watch on 21st July from @amazonIN. I received the watch on 28th July from the seller Mega Store LLP. I entered its serial number to check its authenticity on Tissot's website. I found that the watch was purchased on 15th Feb 2023.”

The user explained that the watch worth Rs 31,500 was meant to be a gift for his uncle. He informed that on raising a complaint with the company, he received a replacement watch. However, this time, the Tissot watch came packed in an Armani box.

The fraud seller had sent a used product. I complained to @AmazonHelp and they offered a replacement with assurance that strict action will be taken against the seller.

When the replacement was recieved we found that seller had sent an Armani watch in the Tissot box.
