The Budget Session started on a stormy note with the Opposition demanding a probe into the report by short-seller Hindenburg Research that raised questions and concerns about the valuation of the Adani Group. This wasn’t the first time that the group’s valuation was questioned, but this was the first that rocked the global markets, especially that of India. It shook investor confidence as they saw almost $100 billion of the market capital getting wiped off. The Adani
