Nepal cabinet recommends new budget session next month

Kathmandu [Nepal], Apr 17 (ANI): The cabinet meeting of Nepal on Friday has recommended President Bidhya Devi Bhandari to call for the next budget session of the Parliament to be held from May 6.
The meeting of the Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli and the Council of Ministers, held in Prime Minister's Office (PMO), made the recommendation for the next parliamentary session which will focus on the budget.
As per the constitutional provision, the budget for the fiscal year of 2018-19, should be tabled in the parliament on May 29.
In another decision, the cabinet also declared the newly inaugurated Integrated Check Post (ICP) constructed in Birgunj with India's help as the customs zone.
The ICP was inaugurated jointly by Oli and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while the former was on a three-day visit to India earlier this month. (ANI)
