Hit by technical glitch, Changi Airport issues manual boarding passes
Singapore [Singapore], Sep 28 (ANI): The passengers at Singapore's Changi Airport had to wait longer for their boarding passes as the Check-in systems of some airlines halted due to technical glitch and it had to be done manually.
"Due to a technical issue affecting the check-in systems of some airlines, the check-in process may take longer as manual boarding passes have to be issued.
We appreciate your patience on this matter," Changi Airport said in its advisory.
However, the systems were restored after around two hours.
"#ADVISORY: The check-in systems of affected airlines have been restored. Thank you for your patience," the airport informed on social media.
"Our engineers are currently working to rectify the issue. Customers may experience some slowness during the booking and checking-in of flights. We apologise to all those affected for the inconvenience caused," The Straits Times quoted a spokesman for SIA, as saying.
It was reported that a network issue had caused disruption to some of its systems. (ANI)
