Two terrorists killed in Shopian gunfight

An encounter broke out between the security forces and terrorists in Gahand area of South Kashmir’s Shopian on Saturday morning. As per sources, 2 terrorists have been killed. Encounter broke out when an exchange of fire took place when the officials were on a cordon and search operation.

Following specific information about militant presence, a joint operation was launched by Army's 34RR and SOG. As the security forces tightened the cordon, the hiding militants fired triggering the encounter.
