Twarit Sukh: 3 Jalandhar girls invited by FIFA to be part of World Cup 2018 in Russia
Three girls from Jalandhar, Punjab have been invited by FIFA to be a part of the World Cup 2018 going on in Russia.
The girls, involved in social work with Youth Football Club, Rurka Kalan, have been called to be recognised for their work in social service. A local from Rurka Kalan, Jaspreet Kaur, will be going as a facilitator while Sonia Rani and Bajlinder Kaur will visit as youth ambassadors.
As reported learned from several media reports, Jaspreet will conduct a session for the sports and development of young leaders. She said, “We are really excited for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We have got tickets for a Round of 16 match (No. 51) at the Luzhniki Stadium.”
